I served nearly 14 years as a United States Marine before moving into the container industry. The Corps taught me that details matter, that commitments are kept, and that you do not leave someone hanging when they are counting on you. That is the standard I bring to every order, from a 20ft unit dropped in a Charleston driveway to a placement on acreage at the far edge of the state.
I came into this business because buying a container was harder than it needed to be. People were paying for units they had never seen, then meeting a delivery charge nobody had quoted them. That is a solvable problem, and solving it is most of what this company does.
The other half is site knowledge. A property on rural acreage needs a different delivery plan than a tight lot in Charleston. Work sites in Automotive manufacturing. The coastal plain, half the state, runs from well drained sandy soils to poorly drained ones with a high water table, and at the marsh edge it turns to soft tidal deposits. Slope compounds all of it, and a great deal of the Greenville and Spartanburg market is on slope.. None of that is abstract to me.

Why This Business Exists
South Carolina is the 40th largest state by land area, and few states pack as much change into as little ground, with 46 counties running from Blue Ridge foothills to tidal marsh
South Carolina covers roughly 32,000 square miles and 46 counties, and you can cross the whole state in a long day, which hides how much the ground changes along the way. The Upstate sits in the Blue Ridge foothills on red clay, with old mill hill streets and steep lake lots on Keowee, Jocassee and Hartwell. Below that the Midlands run through the Sandhills, a belt of deep sand that crosses the state through Aiken, Columbia, Camden and Cheraw and marks where the clay of the upper state gives way to the coastal plain. East of the fall line the Pee Dee flattens into cotton, soybean and tobacco country with real distance between towns. The Grand Strand adds sixty miles of beach traffic on top of that. The Lowcountry is marsh, tidal creek and pluff mud, with a water table close enough to the surface that it decides where a container can sit. Delivery planning here follows soil and approach far more closely than it follows mileage, because grade, ground and turnaround decide what a truck can actually set down.
